Commissioned Work

In addition to her own paintings, Rosanne Seitz has created many paintings on commission. Rosanne has been asked by private collectors to paint a special location such as a ranch, a mountain cabin, coastal cypress trees or location with personal meaning.

  • Working with the collector to discuss size requirements, colors and intent, Rosanne works up sketches to detail the scene.
  • After presenting the sketches to the collector she paints to capture the feeling and mood of the scene.
  • All commission work is done with 100% cotton rag paper and the most lightfast pigments available.
  • Matting and framing suggestions are available upon request.
  • Commissions are done on a time available basis so advance planning is essential if it needs to be complete for a special event. To discuss commissioning a piece of art by Rosanne Seitz, please
